The seedlings start to appear relatively quickly and the crop is checked daily right up until harvest which is usually around August/September time. Its then all hands on deck to ensue the Flaxseed crop is brought safely down to the farm to be stored. Samples of the Flaxseed are sent for analysis and only when the results are back will PureFlax start cold pressing. The Flaxseed is then cold pressed and the Flax Oil for Dogs is bottled before being dispatched to PureFlax’s loyal customers.
